What's the difference between the web copier and NT8 add-on?
The Tradovate web copier is cloud-based and requires no software installation - it works from any device with a browser. The NinjaTrader 8 add-on runs locally on your desktop and can connect to any broker that supports NT8, giving you more flexibility beyond just Tradovate-based prop firms.
Which prop firms are supported?
Our Tradovate web copier works with any prop firm using the Tradovate platform, including Apex, TopStep, Tradeify, TradeDay, MyFundedFutures, TakeProfitTrader, and many others. The NT8 add-on extends support to any broker connected to NinjaTrader 8.
How fast is the trade copying?
Our system typically achieves sub-500ms execution times from detecting a master trade to placing orders on follower accounts. Actual fill times depend on market conditions.
Can I use different position sizes on follower accounts?
Yes! You can configure each copy setup with fixed quantities, ratio-based sizing (e.g., 2x master), or percentage-of-balance sizing to match each account's rules.
Does it copy bracket orders (TP/SL)?
